ADL II offers a combination of the clinically researched LOWAT® blend of Ayurvedic herbal extracts combined with Oligonol®, a lychee and green tea complex containing low-molecular-weight polyphenols for enhanced efficacy. LOWAT® (LI10903F) is a proprietary blend of Piper betle leaf extract and Dolichos biflorus seed extract combined in a specific ratio. Both herbs have been traditionally used, and in vitro and animal research has evaluated this combination and ratio. LOWAT® has also been studied in an eight-week, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial. Oligonol® is a lychee fruit extract produced by converting the long-chain polyphenol polymers into more bioavailable shorter-chain monomers and oligomers. This process increases the bioavailability of these polymers, allowing for enhanced antioxidant support. Oligonol® has been studied in randomized, placebo-controlled trials, and animal research indicates that this extract helps decrease oxidative stress in cells throughout the body, including adipocytes.
Medicinal Ingredients(per capsule): LOWAT® 300 mg, Containing Betel (Piper betle) Leaf Extract (7:1, 840 mg dried equivalent) 120 mg, Catjang Cowpea (Dolichos biflorus) Seed Extract (12:1, 2160 mg dried equivalent) 180 mg, Oligonol®Camellia sinensis Leaf and Litchi chinensis Fruit Pericarp Extract (providing 10% monomeric procyanidins) 17 mg. Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Hypoallergenic plant cellulose, vegetarian capsule (hypromellose, water), ascorbyl palmitate.
Recommended Use:Source of antioxidants. Recommended Dose: Adults: Take 1 capsule 3 times daily with meals, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Consult a healthcare practitioner for use beyond 8 weeks.
Risk Information: Do not use if you are pregnant or trying to conceive. Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you are breastfeeding, have a liver disorder or an iron deficiency. Rare, unpredictable cases of liver injury associated with green tea extract-containing products have been reported. Stop use and consult a healthcare practitioner if you develop symptoms of liver trouble such as yellowing of the skin or eyes, stomach pain, dark urine, sweating, nausea, unusual tiredness or loss of appetite.
