Optimized Curcumin with Neurophenol® is a unique formula containing two clinically supported and trademarked ingredients: Longvida® Optimized Curcumin with extended absorption and bioavailability, and Neurophenol® proprietary blend of standardized blueberry and grape extracts. This combination helps to temporarily improve some aspects of cognitive function, as well as calmness and contentedness during mental stress, in a healthy aging population.
Longvida® Curcumin has been shown in placebo-controlled clinical research to play a role in more than 10 cognitive pathways. A 30-day, randomized, placebo-controlled trial with low-dose Longvida® (400mg) in healthy, middle-aged subjects led to significant support versus placebo in the following markers related to cognitive health and healthy brain aging: amyloid-beta protein, catalase, total antioxidant capacity, sICAM-1, and salivary amylase. Longvida® Curcumin is also supported by more than a dozen bioavailability studies showing that it exhibits extended absorption and is 65 times more bioavailable than typical curcuminoids.
Recent studies have explored the potential role polyphenols may play in cognitive health and memory in older adults. Neurophenol® is a standardized blend of polyphenols from Canadian wild blueberries and French grapes. The active molecules in these berries are concentrated according to a proprietary manufacturing process in order to achieve a highly purified extract. In addition to the clinical trial data, cell and animal studies suggest that Neurophenol® helps maintain good health, at least in part by supporting antioxidant defences.
